Lion Cottage is a lovely 18th century semi detached cottage. It has been recently refurbished to a high standard while maintaining many original features, such as an open fire, oak-beamed ceilings and exposed stonework. The cottage now also has free Wi-Fi access for guests.

The cottage can be found in the centre of Birchover, within the Peak District National Park. The village has two pubs: the wonderful Red Lion and the award-winning Druid Inn (both serving excellent food), a village shop, a public telephone and children’s play park.

Lion Cottage is ideally situated for exploring the Peak District on foot, by road bicycle, mountain bike or by car, and is surrounded by public footpaths in an area of outstanding natural beauty.
