Lion Cottage is a lovely 18th century semi detached holiday cottage. It has been recently refurbished to a high standard while maintaining many original features, such as open fires, oak-beamed ceilings and exposed stonework.

The holiday cottage can be found in the centre of Birchover, within the Peak District National Park. The village has a shop and two pubs: the wonderful Red Lion and the award-winning Druid Inn (both serving excellent food), a public telephone and children’s play park.

The holiday cottage is ideally situated for exploring the Peak District on foot, by road bicycle, mountain bike or by car, and is surrounded by public footpaths in an area of outstanding natural beauty.
